ISL-SEASON 5-MATCH-28-JAMSHEDPUR FC VS DELHI DYNAMOS FC
Match 28 of Indian Super League 5, held on Nov 4 ,saw the Jamshedpur FC play against Delhi Dynamos FC.
Delhi Dynamos played out a 2-2 draw with Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Delhi’s winless run continues in this season, on the other hand, Jamshedpur moved to the top spot in the league. Delhi Dynamos FC had 52% possession than Jamshedpur’s 48%.
Jamshedpur went into the break with a 1-0 lead
Jamshedpur FC won the toss and chose their side. In the seventh minute, Cidoncha sent a cross in the middle, which found Tiri’s head, but his header went straight into the hands of the keeper. Both the sides were not able to test the opposition keeper, as they did not make the final pass correct. Jamshedpur had a good possession of the ball in the first half an hour of the game. In the 39th minute, Jamshedpur took the lead as Gourav sent a pass to Cidoncha on the right. Cidoncha went past couple of defenders and slotted the ball past the keeper into the near post. At the stroke of the halftime, Dorronsoro made a superb save of Gourav’s shot towards the target. Finally, Jamshedpur FC went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

As the second half started, Delhi made three changes to their starting eleven at the break. In the 55th minute, Delhi scored an equalizer on courtesy of some defensive lapses by the Jamshedpur. Chhangte pounced on to the pass between Paul and Robin and slotted the ball past the keeper with ease. Three minutes later Delhi took the lead as Kaludjerovic curled the ball inside the box, which found Chhangte on the left who then sent a cross to Carmona. Carmona without doing any mistake headed into the goal and gave his team a 2-1 lead. In the 72nd minute, Jamshedpur scored an equalizer from a corner. Tebar cleared Carlos shot from the corner on the left, but it found Tiri at the far post who headed it into the back of the net with perfection. In the 80th minute, Soosairaj made a good run before passing the ball to Cahill and the latter headed it towards the target, but the keeper divide to his right and made a superb save in the end. In the next minute Carmona’s cross-found the head of Kaludjerovic who headed it towards the target, but Subrata made a brilliant save in the end. In the 87th, minute Carlos squared the ball to Cidoncha on the right and the latter fired a shot towards the goal, but the keeper made a terrific save by diving towards his left. Finally both the sides settled for a 2-2 draw.
