MATCH-28-PUNERI PALTAN VS BENGALURU BULLS

Match 28 of Pro Kabaddi League season 6, held on Oct 21, saw the Bengaluru Bulls play against Puneri Paltan.

Puneri Paltan came up with another close win as many days by defeating Bulls by 27-25 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Complex in Pune. Akshay top-scored for the hosts with five points, on the other hand, Adake top-scored for his team with eight points.

Bulls edge Paltan in a Low scoring half

Nitin started the proceedings of the game with an empty raid followed up by Pawan’s successful raid and he reached 100 raid points in PKL in the process. Bulls raced to an early 4-1 lead with the help of Adake and Pawan’s successful raids. The hosts brought down the lead to just one point with Nitin’s bonus touch. Nitin’s successful raid in the next minute helped his team to take the lead for the first time in the game. In the 13th minute, Bulls leveled the scores at nine points each after Sandeep’s super tackle on Nitin. Bulls then scored three successive points and headed into the break with a three-point lead.

Paltan completes hat-trick win at home

As the second half started, Paltan started it with Shubam’s super tackle on Pawan and brought down the lead to just one point. Rohit’s bonus touch helped Bulls to take a three-point lead in the 25th minute. However, Akshay’s three-point raid helped Paltan to level the scores at 16 points each and saved them from all-out. Bulls inflicted their first all-out on Paltan after Adake tackled Akshay off the mat and took a 22-20 lead. Both teams went on defensive modes after Nitin and Adake were out off the mat. Paltan took a 25-23 lead in the 35th minute with Nitin’s successful raid. However, Bulls leveled the scores at 25 points each with Adake’s super tackle on Nitin. Adake went in for the last raid of the game with a point difference between both the sides, but Rinku tackled Adake off the mat to give Paltan another thrilling victory.
