Patna had a strong start this season but lost their rhythm in last 6 matches in the group stage. As a result they were not able to top their Zone. Pardeep remained as one of the biggest threats for the opponents as he single handedly drove them away and scored big wins. He was well supported by Monu who scored more than 150 points and helped his team when Pardeep wasn’t able to perform. They enjoyed the best home leg in their Zone with 4 wins. Their main concern before playing playoffs is that in the last 4 matches they have not won any. Their defence is led by Vishal and Jaideep who will be playing a major role in taking away the opposition. They will be playing Haryana Steelers in the 2nd Eliminator on 24th October.

UP YODDHA

Best Raider            : NITIN TOMAR (160 Raid Points)

Best Defender        : NITESH KUMAR (46 Tackle Points)

They are the only new team to qualify for playoffs from Zone B in last moments. They are the only team from the teams who have qualified for playoffs and had an inconsistent campaign. They had their worst home leg as they ended up with 4 losses and managed to win only one. Yoddha relied mainly on their star raiders Tomar and Rishank to win the matches. The only positive thing they had in the league stage was the evolution of Surender who took points in defence and offence especially during do-or-die raids. Their defence needed to come front if they want to win the title and they will be facing a mighty Puneri Paltan in the first Eliminator.
